Special purpose consortium formed to bid for and deliver the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link project. Members included Murray & Roberts (South African construction), Bombardier Transportation (rolling stock and systems), Bouygues Travaux Publics (French civil engineering), and Strategic Partners Group. Awarded the R26 billion concession in 2006. The Bombardier component is the focus of bribery allegations involving intermediary commissions.
