Received R16,148,569 in gratuitous payments from VBS via Vele Investments for "consulting services" — but had no invoices, no employees, and no operating costs. VBS money was its sole income. Money flowed onward to Floyd Shivambu and allegedly the EFF. Brian later admitted the money was received "gratuitously" and signed acknowledgement of debt for R4.55M.
