The homepage cover total was showing an inflated figure that double-counted umbrella incidents together with their component cases. Corrected to the deduplicated total (top-level incidents only), and unified the case count to top-level cases. Every headline figure across the site — cover, page metadata and share cards — now derives from a single source so they can no longer disagree.
If a figure, a name, a date or an attribution looks wrong to you, tell us. Point to the record and, if you can, the source that corrects it. Every report is checked against the primary sources, and if it holds up, the fix is made and logged here.
